I do a lot of church audio and video recordings. USB-3 is definitely the best access for these large files. With the dodocool USB-3 hub plugged into my USB-3 card and the 4-Port hub beside my keyboard I can load from any USB device to my PC, from the PC to any USB device, and between two USB devices fast and efficiently. It is a nice addition to your PC. It probably works on I-MAX also.
By N************January 2, 2018 01:44:24 Works as advertised. It's just a 4-port hub for your USB 3.0-equipped computer. The ports are a little stiff but should get better with use. The plastic base does have rubber feet which help it stay on a smooth surface. It would be nice if it was weighted down slightly (or made of a thicker metal.) The blue LED light stays on even if the computer is off (unless it's a laptop solely on battery power.) The cable could have been slightly longer but it's not bad. It's approximately 2 feet. Final score: 4.75/5 •.
By K***************January 1, 2018 03:15:07 I wanted a hub with some stability and sturdiness to use by my docking station with the USB connections on top rather than on the side. This meets my need to perfection! No, it's not metal or heavy, but I also didn't pay through the nose! Have connected devices, flash drives, and external hard drives to it and it connects immediately and without any issues. Speed is incredible! But then I got it so I could expand with my new laptop and it is the first USB 3.0 computer I've owned. Downloaded several gig of files onto an external USB 3.0 1 TB HD.
Took 1.5 hours to load from my 2008 computer. Took about 60 seconds to download onto my new i7 computer via USB 3 connectivity. I cannot believe the speed, but then I've been using the same computer for 8 years! Urban Chaos Ps2 Rapidshare Downloads. About time I got upgraded. By E*December 31, 2017 18:04:38 There does not appear to be many technical details regarding the usb 3.0 hub and ethernet combo so I'm writing this review to clarify a few details.
The current version of this hub as of Oct 1 2014 does not appear to exhibit 2.4GHz wireless interference issues. I tested this on 5 different notebooks and desktop (MacBook Pro 13' 2014, Sony Vaio Tap 11, HP Folio 13, Dell Precision M6800, Generic DIY PC with Gigabyte Z77 Motherboard) Tested with WiFi, bluetooth keyboard, generic 2.4GHz thumb keyboard, Logitech mouse with 2.4GHz unified receiver. I had two different thumb drives plugged in (Corsair and Patriot) and transferred data from them while simultaneously downloading a 100MB file using 2.4GHz connected WiFi-- no issues. - Hub uses newer VL812 chip with v9091 firmware.
