Here, fresh off the bat of his recent Beatport #1 'Call You Back', Butler takes to Kerri Chandler's Kaoz Theory imprint to deliver some fresh new material. Title cut 'Sunday Club' opens and sees a combination of evolving synth leads meander amongst regimented drum shots and sporadic bass licks, before 'Figure' lays the focus on a skipping percussion arrangement, tension building delays and smooth vocals. Next up, 'Tracks' skillfully employs bright chords and classic vocal loops across a groove-led six minutes, whilst 'Jackal' sees crisp hats glide over weighty sub tones and dub stabs to reveal a darker offering to the package. Lastly, Fuse's Seb Zito closes the EP with his take on 'Sunday Club', working in shuffling drums and hefty kicks to reveal a signature low-slung interpretation.
